A man who killed two people in Wayne County 35 years ago will be released from prison in March.
The state parole board says Chad Campbell will be freed by March 12.
He was 14 when he stabbed 15-year-old Cynthia Lewis 44 times and killed the baby she was sitting, Curtis Rizzo, who was under a year old.
Police found their bodies behind Palmyra-Macedon Middle School in August 1990.
Campbell admitted in a previous parole hearing that his intent was to “rape and possibly kill.”
He also said he attacked the child because he wouldn’t stop crying.
The parole board granted his release after a hearing on November 12.
