A Brighton man will serve 17 years in prison in a late-night shooting outside a Canandaigua bar.
34-year-old Leon McDaniel pleaded guilty to 1st-degree assault last month.
Prosecutors say he opened fire into a crowd during a fight outside Bubby’s Tavern on Phoenix Street last December.
A 38-year-old woman was hit in the arm and sent to the hospital.
