A Mexican man has pleaded guilty to federal gun charges after being stopped on Canandaigua Road in Macedon.
52-year-old Guadalupe Jimenez-Coy admits he was an illegal alien in possession of a firearm, and could face 15 years in jail.
He was arrested after a disturbance call on April 3, with an eyewitness saying he removed a shotgun from the trunk of his car and placed it unwrapped on the front seat of his car.
Sentencing is scheduled for January.
