Rochester police now say the shooting of a city woman and a two-year-old child -- was accidental.
They say a gun went off inside a home on Westmoreland Drive, near Monroe Community Hospital, at around 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The child was seriously hurt, but is expecteed to survive.
There's no word yet on any charges.
