A 67-year-old Batavia man has pleaded guilty in federal court to sex trafficking conspiracy charges.
Joseph Barsuk admits he engaged in sexual contact with the victim, and provided her with an apartment, a vehicle, and the money she needed to support a heavy addiction to cocaine and heroin.
When she began experiencing withdrawal symptoms, Barsuk would coerce her to have sex for more drugs.
The two met at Pharoh's Gentlemen's Club, a strip club at the heart of a drug trafficking trial recently, and prosecutors say they were fully aware of the victim's addiction.
They also say Barsuk worked with and even paid employees when he was with the victim.
