A Rochester man has been indicted in the killing of a homeless city woman earlier this month.
31-year-old Tavontay Heygood-Session faces 2nd-degree murder.
Police say he beat and choked 46-year-old Karen Wargo to death at North Clinton Avenue and Pleasant Street on July 9th.
Heygood-Session was arrested the following night while checking out parked cars on East Main Street.
Heygood-Session has three prior felony convictions, including attempted arson for trying to set fire to a house with children inside.
His sentencing on that charge is pending.
