State Police say they arested both people involved in a domestic situation in the Village of Wolcott that ended up in a stabbing.
Troopers say 33-year-old Devell Taylor became physically aggressive in a home on State Street in the village.
Four children were at the home at the time, and police say a 17-year-old intervened by stabbing Taylor multiple times.
Taylor was found injured and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The teenager was charged at the time with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
After their investigation, troopers arrested Taylor this week on charges of criminal mischief, endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail.
