The man who took a plea deal in fatal hit-and-run on the city's west side has been sentenced to 3 to 9 years in prison.
42-year-old Paolo Smith of Rochester pleaded guilty last month to 2nd-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene.
He admitted to hitting 46-year-old Lashawnda Leggett, when he sped backwards through a West Avenue parking lot last August.
