UPDATE: Search for Missing Rochester Boy Now Recovery Mission

UPDATE: Rochester Police Chief David Smith says the search for a missing 5-year-old boy is now a recovery mission.

Zy-Jae St. Pierre was walking with his mother on the Andrews Street Bridge Sunday, and climbed a railing before falling into the water.

The search has moved to High Falls, where authorities slowed down the flow in attempt to find the boy.

Drone and scuba teens will continue to search the area until the end of the week.

The search is expected to resume this morning for a 5-year-old boy who fell into the Genesee River.

RPD Captain Greg Bello says the boy was walking with his mother on the Andrews Street Bridge shortly before 5 yesterday, and climbed a railing before falling in.

Drone and scuba teams searched for hours last night, with no sign of the boy.
