The Seneca Falls Town Board has approved a host agreement for the largest landfill in New York State.
Seneca Meadows will pay the Town $10 million annually over the next 15 years.
The vote came before a public comment period, where several town residents spoke out against the agreement.
Operator Waste Connections wants to add 47 acres to the landfill and raise the height by 70 feet.
The state DEC has yet to approve the plan.
