A Geneva man is in critical, but stable, condition, after a crash in Phelps.
Deputies say 61-year-old Patrick Maher lost control of his car yesterday afternoon at County Route 23 and Tileyard Road, and it slammed into a utility pole.
Maher was extricated and rushed to Strong Hospital.
Investigators believe snowy roads led to the crash.
