Rochester police have two juveniles in custody after a chase that began with a report of a pedestrian hit by a car, then robbed by the occupants of a white Kia on Grand Avenue.
Police spotted that car within minutes but the driver refused to stop.
Police were led on a 20 minute chase that ended when the car ran over spike strips laid by police on Lincoln Street.
The case remains under investigation.
The pedestrian suffered minor abrasions from being struck.
