Rochester Man Sentenced in Fatal Edgerton Neighborhood Shooting

A man who pleaded guilty in a homicide last August in the Edgerton neighborhood was sentenced today to 20 years in prison.

28-year-old Brandon Hall pleaded guilty last month to 1st-degree manslaughter.

Prosecutors say Hall gunned down 31-year-old Alec Rouse at North Plymouth Avenue and Ambrose Street.

Rouse's family says the two got into an argument, after Rouse knocked on the wrong door while looking for someone.

Hall was arrested in January and indicted on 2nd-degree murder and 2 weapons charges.
