Rochester police have made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run on the city's west side earlier this month.
41-year-old Paolo Smith of Rochester faces manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Police say Smith was speeding backwards through a West Avenue parking lot shortly before midnight August 1st, when his vehicle crashed into 46-year-old Lashawnda Leggett and a building.
Leggett later died at Strong Hospital.
Smith turned himself in and will be arraigned tomorrow morning.
