The big story isn’t the end of the Joe Biden campaign, it’s the second coming of Christ.
Because that’s what Biden said it would take for him to step down. He would need to be visited personally by “the Lord Almighty” and be instructed to step aside.
He has stepped aside, so we must presume Joe got his visitation.
Though, it was more likely it was from Democrat donors and bigwigs, the gods he has worshipped and been blessed by his entire adult life. It turns out the guy who told us he was “running the world,” doesn’t even run his own party, and when it turned on him, it was all over.
And that’s the right thing. Not that the Democrats’ motive is correct, but the action is.
Joe Biden is a mental incompetent, ravaged by a degenerative motor and cognitive disorder associated with age. He is to be sympathized with and cared about, not run again.
But Democrats didn’t care about that when he was polling well. And ultimately their decision to dump him was about his numbers, not his abilities. When months of polls showed that he was going to lose, probably in an electoral landslide, they wanted a different candidate – not because he wasn’t capable or because they had the best interests of the country at heart, but because they feared losing power. They forced through his nomination, pushing others out of the primaries, and then got buyer’s remorse when they saw that he was going to lose. So about a hundred days before the election, they changed horses.
Which is cheating. But Democrats aren’t above cheating when it comes to power.
And here we are, halfway to where we ought to be.
Because while Kamala Harris shouldn’t be president on January 21, she should be today.
If the issue is anything other than the Democrats’ desperate attempt to hold onto tyrannical power over the American people, it wouldn’t have been a step down from the candidacy, it would have been a step down from the presidency. Joe Biden is incapable of appropriately exercising the powers of his office today, the country needs a functioning president today, and the constitutional order of things makes that Kamala Harris.
But the secret hand won’t let that happen.
The same cabal that has now disenfranchised the 14 million Democratic primary voters and is handpicking its own candidate for November hid Biden’s incapacity and savaged anyone who brought it up. The same people who call a riot an insurrection lack the candor to call their current politicking a coup.
And Biden’s withdrawal is both part of their plan and part of the country cleaning up their mess. He has an affliction of the mind; his party has an affliction of the soul. And it will fall to constitutional means and the vote of the people to fix things.
And the path is uncertain because the depth of the intrigue is unknown and the level of suspicion is high.
Had the assassination of Donald Trump been successful, Joe Biden would have remained the candidate and potentially held onto power. Millions of Americans wonder if that’s why the assassination came so close to being successful. To a nation struggling to understand how the Biden Administration could leave Donald Trump so unprotected, with killing him the last untried effort of the government to keep him from being elected to the presidency, the failed assassination and the week-later withdrawal of Joe Biden can appear to be more than coincidental.
And people who wonder if the government might have tried to kill their candidate are apt to wonder if the government will try to steal the election. With every single “voter access” reform of the Democrats also being an excellent opportunity to fabricate votes, those suspicions can’t be considered unfounded.
Which brings us to where we are – the “democracy party,” after running an incompetent candidate, has nullified the voters in its own candidate-selection process, and will now by fiat and backroom deal come up with another candidate to run in an election of uncertain integrity.
Which calls to mind the lessons of history. Not the history of the United States, where obedience to law and submission to the Constitution have prevailed. But world history, where the lust for power has subverted democratic order, oppressed civilizations and destroyed societies.
