A Livingston County man who admitted in court to driving to Virginia to have sex with a 14-year-old girl will serve 25 years in federal prison.
Prosecutors say 27-year-old Derrick Loi of Lakeville acted as the girl's "sugar daddy," paying her for explicit photos and videos of herself.
Loi then booked a hotel room for himself and the girl in February of last year, but was intercepted by a police officer.
Loi pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of coercion and enticement.
