A Rochester man is facing charges in an early-morning scuffle that allegedly injured a police officer.
18-year-old Malaki Deaton allegedly ran from police near Hudson Avenue and Bernard Street.
After Deaton's arrest, one officer was treated for an upper body injury at the hospital and released.
Deaton allegedly tossed a 22-caliber gun during the chase, and a disassembled ghost gun was found in his backpack.
He's facing assault, resisting arrest, and gun crimes.
