A Newark man is facing an arson charge for allegedly setting fire to his girlfriend's apartment.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says 44-year-old Edwin Williams set the fire in the woman's downstairs apartment on Prospect Street in Newark, while people were in the apartment upstairs.
No one was hurt.
