A Rochester man convicted in a homicide on the city's southwest side has been sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
30-year-old Lequan Hill was found guilty of 2nd-degree murder last month.
Prosecutors say he fatally stabbed 42-year-old Antoine Parris on Frost Avenue in November 2022.
Hill is a parolee and was arrested just days before the fatal stabbing for allegedly cutting off his ankle monitor.
He was released hours later.
