A man is facing charges, after allegedly shooting a woman in the face in Steuben County.
Troopers say it happened shortly before 9 last night in Avoca.
50-year-old Terry Long Junior is charged with assault and a gun crime.
The 47-year-old woman is in guarded condition at Strong Hospital.
