A Rochester man has been indicted in an August homicide.
A Monroe County grand jury has charged 21-year-old Michael Scott Junior with second-degree murder and a gun crime.
Police say Scott gunned down 22-year-old Demetrius Rucker, as Rucker was walking down Henion Street, near West Main.
Scott was arrested last year with two illegal guns and pleaded guilty last month to weapons charges.
He was free and awaiting sentencing when he was arrested earlier this month.
