A Rochester City School District teacher is dead, after she hit a deer with her car this morning in Genesee County.
Deputies say it happened just after 7 on Route 19 in LeRoy.
58-year-old Judith Purdy was driving north, when the deer ran out in front of her car.
She was dead at the scene.
RCSD officials confirm Purdy was a teacher in the district for more than 20 years, most recently at Abraham Lincoln School #22.
Purdy was on her way to work when the accident happened.
