A Rochester man is facing charges in an August homicide on the city's west side.
21-year-old Michael Scott Junior is charged with 2nd-degree murder and a gun crime.
Police say Scott gunned down 22-year-old Demetrius Rucker, as Rucker was walking down Henion Street, near West Main.
Scott was arrested in September with two illegal guns, and pleaded guilty to weapons charges last month.
He was free and awaiting sentencing, when he was arrested yesterday.
Scott will be arraigned tomorrow morning.
