A former Brighton High School teacher has pleaded guilty to possession of child porn.
Federal prosecutors say 45-year-old Louis Carusone of Webster admitted to possessing images involving prepubescent minors.
Carusone was a physics teacher in the Brighton Central School District when he uploaded video and images containing child porn to an online file sharing network.
The images were spotted by law enforcement, and a search warrant was obtained for Carusone's home.
Some 2,000 images were seized, some involving children as young as five, and some showing children being subjected to violence.
Carusone had also secretly videoed children in public, including female students in his Brighton classroom.
He'll be sentenced in February.
