Rochester Police now say the death of a woman found lying on Lake Avenue in the Edgerton neighborhood was a hit-and-run.
The woman in her 50s was found around 11 Sunday night, and she was pronounced dead at Strong Hospital.
It's now believed a vehicle traveling northbound on Lake Avenue struck the woman, and police say the driver may not have been aware they hit anyone.
