Hyundai will set up anti-theft mobile software upgrade clinics for owners throughout the U.S., including here in Rochester.
The clinic here is set for November 17th and 18th.
At these clinics, organizers will upgrade vehicle software, so the theft method popularized in the viral TikTok video will no longer work.
Rochester is one of just 7 cities nationwide that will have held one of these clinics.
Car theft in the city is up nearly 350% from a year ago.
