UPDATE: Rochester police say a man shot last week on the city's southwest side has died.
48-year-old Karl Jones was shot while in his car on Schwartz Street, a block west of Jefferson Avenue, last Tuesday evening.
Police believe the gunman was on foot, and shot Jones several times.

Rochester police say a man has life-threatening wounds from a shooting on the city's southwest side.
It happened around dinnertime last night.
The man in his 40s was shot while in his car on Schwartz Street, a block west of Jefferson Avenue.
Police have made no arrests.
