A Rochester man convicted in a homicide on the city's northwest side will serve 25 years to life in prison.
32-year-old Ammenra Felton was found guilty in August of 2nd-degree murder and 2 gun crimes.
Prosecutors say he gunned down 32-year-old Charlotte Thomas in January of last year at Lyell Avenue and Child Street.
Felton then allegedly fled to Texas, where US Marshals arrested him a few weeks later.
