The owner of the house in Gates where authorities found filth and more than 200 cats back in June now faces animal cruelty charges.
Reinhardt “Roy” Belke faces 8 counts each of overdriving, torturing,and injuring animals and failure to provide sustenance.
He also is charged with over 100 counts of failure to provide proper food and drink to an impounded animal.
Many of the cats were taken to Lollypop Farm, but some had to be euthanized.
