Rochester police have a man in custody who allegedly fired shots at a house on the city's north side, then led police on a chase through the city.
The gunfire was reported around 2:45 a.m. on Newcomb Street, near Clifford Avenue.
Arriving officers saw a car speeding away from the scene.
They tailed it to Mt. Read Boulevard, where 32-year-old Dawrin Rosado crashed into a light pole.
Police say he made a run for it, but officers caught him quickly.
He faces gun and reckless endangering charges, and a contempt charge.
Police say a person in the house had a protective order against him.
