Today is the first day of classes in the Rochester schools, and the district is advising parents its dealing with a bus driver shortage.
In posts on social media, the district says it has maximized capacity on the buses, but all children needing rides will get picked up.
The message says parents should notify the schools if their children no longer need transportation.
Because the buses will be loaded with more children getting on and off, parents are being advised that bus runs may run longer than normal.
