A Steuben County man is facing charges, after allegedly firing at State Police.
It happened Sunday night on Rossevelt Avenue in Bath.
Troopers say 51-year-old Larry Schoonover fired several shots at them with a shotgun hours into a standoff resulting from a domestic dispute call.
Schoonover missed, and a trooper hit him in the leg with a return shot.
Schoonover is charged with attempted murder of a police officer, reckless endangerment, and a gun crime.
