The local unemployment rate has risen for the 4th consecutive month.
The state Labor Department reports the jobless rate for the Rochester metro is up to 3.2% in July.
That's a tenth of a point increase from June, and 7-tenths of a point lower than the record-low 2.5% in April.
The rate is lower than the statewide rate of 3.9%.
And the metro has gained nearly 11,000 jobs year-over-year.
