More asylum-seekers will likely be coming to Rochester over the next few weeks.
New York City has booked more rooms at the Holiday Inn on State Street, and people being relocated are expected to arrive by bus on the next two Mondays.
The hotel reportedly has an emergency housing contract through the end of the year.
Seventy-seven asylum seekers arrived at the hotel Monday night.
The hotel's emergency housing plan got county approval, in accordance with the County Executive's directive issued in May.
