NYC Migrants Arrive in Rochester

Seventy-seven asylum seekers have arrived in Rochester by bus from New York City.

The new arrivals are staying at the Holiday Inn on State Street.

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello says his order in May set out clear conditions for the relocation of the asylum seekers here.

He says New York City must cover the costs of food, lodging and other needs.

The emergency housing arrangement will be reviewed every 30 days for compliance.

There are 21 families, including more than 30 children and one pregnant woman.
