The Red Cross is assisting three adults and two children who were left homeless by a fire on Rochester's northeast side.
It happened around 11:30 last night at a single family home on Midland Avenue.
Smoke alarms alerted the family, and everyone got out safely.
The fire in the attic caused significant damage to the entire house.
The cause is under investigation.
