A state commission is hoping to finish work this week on recommendations for new high school graduation requirements.
The Albany Times Union reports the panel will submit a draft to the state education department, and will present the final version to the state Board of Regents in November.
There is no word whether the panel will recommend ending or modifying the Regents exam requirement that has been in place for nearly three decades.
