Rochester police are investigating a shooting that wounded a woman in a car on Lake Avenue.
It happened around 10:45 last night in the Maplewood neighborhood.
Police say the gunfire came from another car that had pulled up alongside the woman's car near Maplewood Drive.
Police say it appears the car was targeted.
The 49-year-old woman is recovering at the hospital. An 18-year-old man who was riding with her wasn't hurt.
