Rochester police say a 30-year-old man is recovering from a shooting on Hollenbeck Street, north of Avenue D.
It happened just after 10 last night. Police are still sorting out the circumstances.
Meantime, police are investigating reports of gunfire after midnight near Conkey Avenue and Norton Street.
Officers found evidence that shots were fired, but there was no sign that any people or buildings were hit.
