A Rochester man will serve 18 years in prison for a homicide on the city's north side.
Police say 39-year-old Christen Dowdell confronted 32-year-old Quinn Mair in an East Ridge Road parking lot in March of last year, then shot him.
Dowdell was then shot by an unknown suspect.
Mair was pronounced dead shortly after at Rochester General, while Dowdell was released from the hospital.
