Irondequoit police are looking to catch up with illegal off-road ATVs and dirt bikes on the streets with ATVs of their own.
The police department has obtained three specialized Polaris Rzr four-wheelers and posted photos on Twitter.
The vehicles have police markings, room for two officers, and the department says they can go anywhere that an ATV and a dirt bike can go.
The department used American Rescue Plan money for the purchase.
