The City of Rochester has released a plan to improve transportation safety and accessibility.
City Hall says the so-called Active Transportation Plan will guide the City in fully integrating walking, biking, and accessibility into its short- and long-term plans.
It contains 182 recommended projects to improve pedestrian accessibility, and bicycle infrastructure.
The mayor says it will benefit people with disabilities, minorities, low-income residents, and those without cars.
The plan is online at the city website.
