A woman struck by a car near a Rochester school Friday has died of her injuries.
Police say the 62-year-old was hit Friday while crossing Midland Avenue.
The driver fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Strong Hospital for emergency surgery, but police report she died this morning.
The victim's name has not been released, and police are still looking for the driver.
