Rochester police are investigating an early-morning homicide.
An 18-year-old man was shot while driving a stolen car around 6 a.m. on Laser Street, near Joseph Avenue.
The car crashed into a pole, and the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police Captain Frank Umbrino says the car had been stolen hours earlier from the Portland Avenue area.
It's the 23rd homicide in the city this year.
