The nine-day Rochester jazz festival begins today downtown.
Roughly one-third of those shows are free -- but others will require paid admission.
All bags, purses, backpacks and lawn chairs will be searched upon entry.
Coolers, large bags, glass bottles, weapons, wagons and professional cameras are prohibited.
