Rochester Parolee Pleads Guilty to Manslaughter

A Rochester parolee charged in two homicides has pleaded guilty to one of them.

31-year-old Christopher Williams Junior pleaded guilty to 1st-degree manslaughter in the death of Marcus Bennett.

Police say he gunned down Bennett on Sixth Street last July.

Williams was also accused of shooting Kenneth Johnson to death inside a Roycroft Drive home about a month later.

The guilty plea settles both cases.

Williams was on parole for a 2015 arson conviction, and had cut off his ankle monitor twice, including once just a week-and-a-half before he allegedly shot Bennett
