A Rochester man has been charged in a shooting on the city's north side.
Police say 34-year-old David Vellon-Lopez shot a man in his 30s on Weaver Street, near Joseph Avenue, shortly before dinnertime Tuesday.
The victim is expected to survive.
Vellon-Lopez is charged with assault and gun crimes.
