Rochester Releases Gun Trace Data

Rochester Mayor Malik Evans says stopping gun violence in the city includes focusing on the "supply side" -- the sources of the guns coming from somewhere else.

The city has released a report showing that more than half of the 6000 guns seized in the city over the last decade came from out state, but most of the dealers that sold the highest numbers of those guns are in Monroe County,

Councilman Willie Lightfoot says there are people intentionally trafficking guns in inner cities disproportionately

The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence prepared the report.
