Monroe County is looking to get more Emergency Medical Technicians into service.
The county is partnering with Monroe Community College to train 160 EMTs and paramedics over the next four years.
Those EMTs and paramedics would then be qualified to work for any EMS agency within the county.
Funding from the American Rescue Plan will cover tuition, books and supplies, paid training time, and day care.
