The local unemployment rate has hit another 3-decade low.
The state Labor Department reports the jobless rate for the Rochester metro dropped to 2.5% for April.
That's an 8-tenths drop from March, and 3-tenths lower than the previous low of 2.8% last October.
It's just the 2nd time since at least 1990 the local unemployment rate dipped below 3%.
The metro has gained 5,000 jobs year-over year.
